Our Beliefs

The Scripture is our final authority in all matters of faith, doctrine, and practice, both personal and corporate. To aid our expression of our beliefs, the church has adopted the Baptist Faith & Message, 2000 edition, as our Statement of Faith.

We are an autonomous church retaining all authority over our decisions and direction. But, the church recognizes the value and mutual helpfulness in the voluntary association of churches which are in such agreement in faith and practice as to make possible a spirit of fellowship and goodwill. Accordingly, the church voluntarily affiliates with the Metro Baptist Association in Jackson, MS, the Mississippi Baptist Convention and the Southern Baptist Convention.
