Posted on Monday, May 20, 2013 in Adult, Events, Ministers' Blog, News, Outreach | 0 Comments

The young adult ministry summer kickoff is Tuesday, May 21 at 5:30 p.m.

It’s for adults age 22-30…or somewhere in there. Kids are welcome to come too.

Cookout, fire, games, music, the MHBC young adults…who could resist? We start at 5:30, but it’s come and go.

You’ll need directions to get there though since your GPS will probably take you to a bridge that’s under construction.

The address is 2411 Neil Collins Road, Raymond.

IMG_9312Much has been made over the last several weeks and months about the drift of our country away from its perceived Christian moorings.  While I have no intention of arguing the question as to whether our founders intended to start a Christian nation, it is undeniable that they intended to start a nation where religion and the subsequent benefits of religion could and would flourish.

Posted on Sunday, April 28, 2013 in Events, Ministers' Blog, Missions | 0 Comments

180 bags filled with grocery items were donated by MHBC members during the semiannual food drive hosted by the GA’s. Many folks helped make the day successful and 16 girls spent the afternoon sorting and stocking the items donated during the food drive. Special thanks to our girls and their leaders.

Spring Tailgate a Big Success

Once in a while we try something new and it works beautifully.  The Spring Tailgate was just such an event.  It was great to have the worship center filled with one service and it was great to have more than 600 stay for lunch under a cool, overcast sky.  It was something special to behold.
