This drama ministry has boldly impacted the world for the Kingdom of God, and it’s based right here within the Student Ministry at Morrison Heights. Teenagers who enjoy the spotlight, have a gift for entertaining, and are passionate about the Gospel of Christ volunteer each year for this ministry. Their purpose is to use those talents to show the gospel in a unique and visible way.
Barefoot began in the heart of Director Erica Hagar on a mission trip to the Philippines. Face to face with a village of people with no translator or Bible in their language, she had a vision to put together pantomime skits that would share the Gospel. Today, Barefoot has filmed 4 videos of completely wordless skits that missionaries in more than 30 countries are using around the world to share the Gospel where it can’t be spoken. Applications to join the Barefoot team are now being accepted. If you would like to apply, you can download an application here or pick one up in the Student Ministry office. All forms need to be submitted to the office by August 1 for the Fall term and by December 1 for the Spring term.
