C.A.R.E. Literacy

The C.A.R.E. literacy initiative answers a need that so many of our Second Harvest clients present.  This Christian-based learning program provides one-on-one tutoring by trained volunteer counselors for adults who have weak or no reading skills.  The classes are free but there is a small charge for materials.  Since materials are based on Scriptures, clients are maturing in God’s Word as they develop skills that will enhance their lives.

The program is located at the Mission and Ministry Campus on Morrison Drive.  The office is staffed each Tuesday from 10:00 am until 12 noon or by appointment.
