Providing food, clothing and compassion to those in need each Monday evening from 6 pm till 8 pm and Tuesday morning from 10 am till 12 noon at the Missions Campus.Then Jesus called His disciples to Him and said, “I have compassion on the multitude, because they have been with me three days and have nothing to eat. And I do not want to send them away hungry lest they faint on the way.”
The Second Harvest benevolence ministry offers the love and compassion that Jesus spoke of in Matthew 15:32 to more than 1000 families every month Each family comes to our ministry with physical and spiritual needs. Our caring volunteers extend the compassion of Jesus as they listen to their hearts, pray with them, and share the Gospel as the Spirit directs. Each family leaves with bags of groceries and clothing and the assurance that they are loved.
The volunteers at Second Harvest have found that relationships are developed as the love and compassion of Jesus Christ is offered to those who are homeless, jobless, or facing medical crisis.

Each Tuesday and Thursday afternoon Walmart’s Feeding America Program donates truck-loads of surplus food to our Second Harvest Ministry. Volunteers are needed on these days to help pick-up, weigh, and stock all food items. If you would like to volunteer for either afternoon please call Mark Sandifer at 601-260-0435.
