As Christians, we have a responsibility to be knowledgeable and involved in issues that affect our families, church, and local, state and federal governments.
We should equip ourselves to be informed, from a Christian perspective, of the facts, trends, and conditions relating to the moral, social, ethical and legal issues that impact our lives. Such issues include abortion and abortion recovery, gambling, global warming, ecology, hunger, religious differences, race relations, war and peace, medical ethics, stem cell research, suicide, pornography, internet, homosexuality, physical abuse, addictive substances, marriage and families, parenting skills, adolescent issues, aging, death, euthanasia, divorce and divorce recovery.
