Care & Help

Jesus Said That Those Who Do Not Yet Believe Will Know That Christians

Belong To Him By The Way They Care For One Another.

Prayer Is The First Work

We serve a real, live, loving God who wants to communicate and relate with us. What an amazing privilege and responsibility! At Morrison Heights prayer thrives through our Intercessory Prayer Ministry, through small group prayer in homes or on campus, through altar prayer, and corporate prayer.

If you have a burden and would like our ministers to pray for you, you can submit a confidential request here. Our pastors will pray for your request and your request will be posted as you designate so that our prayer ministry volunteers can continue to pray for your need.

Prayer Requests

You can submit a prayer request by completing the Prayer Request section on the Sunday bulletin and placing it in the offering plate. You may also submit a prayer request online here or by contacting the Pastoral Care Office at 601.925.6429 with your request.

Our staff prays weekly for these prayer requests. If you give us permission, we will also list your request in our Intercessory Prayer Room and on the weekly “Prayer the First Work Guide” available during the Wednesday night Prayer Meeting.

Abortion Recovery

For women experiencing the pain of abortion

The Center for Pregnancy Choices offers Forgiven and Set Free by Linda Cochrane. This Bible study is a healing study that helps women with the aftermath of abortion. This study helps women overcome shame, guilt, anxiety, depression, relational problems and more. We work through the grief process – grief over the sin of abortion and grieving our aborted children.

We believe God’s Word and His promises to HEAL us, to set us FREE from the sin of abortion and to restore to us the JOY of our Salvation! Healed, free and forgiven! We are no longer post-abortive women, we have become, “Women of Truth!”

The ministry offers a confidential, non-judgmental support group environment. Bible Study is 11 weeks long. We meet one night a week from 6:00-8:30. The meeting place is confidential.

You may contact us at: or call Cheryl at 601-209-5686.

In His Time – Sexual Addiction Recovery

I can’t change! No one cares! How do I deal with this?

In His Time ministers to men, women, and families struggling with life issues such as sexual brokenness, emotional dependency, adultery, and spiritual hardships. Through the issue of homosexuality, God has brought restoration in such a powerful way into the lives of those on the In His Time ministry team that they desire to share with others the riches of that victory.

We have support groups meeting weekly and understanding men and women trained to help you. You may e-mail us or contact us at 601.925.6435 to leave a confidential message.
