Children's Event

Our preschool and elementary children (ages 3 years - 6th grade) will enjoy a very special Life Group experience featuring Giant Cow Ministries. The morning will be filled with high energy drama, music, kid comedy, life lessons, interactive Scripture memorization, group games, obstacles courses and more as children are pointed to Christ. Childcare will be provided for birth–2 years.

Children’s Schedule

9:00 am - Children’s drop off begins at Morrison Heights campus.
9:00 am - Giant Cow will begin in the theater. Don’t worry if you need to drop off later than 9:00, children will be able to jump right in and not miss a beat.
11:45 am - Pizza lunch to be served for one year olds through sixth grade.
Children’s activities will end 30 minutes after Commitment Sunday service ends at Anderson Hall.

Student ministry growth
Average Life Group attendance is up 30% over 2019. Sunday morning meeting space for students is at capacity.
College ministry growth
Average Life Group attendance is up 28% over pre-pandemic levels.
Need for large gathering space
Morrison Heights currently faces the challenge of limited space within our facilities. Continued Life Group growth and the desire to host larger gatherins and events have outpaces our current capacity.

A large gathering space seating 350-400
A spacious Fellowship Hall would create space for Student Ministry gatherings, Sunday lunch fellowships, Sunday evening discipleship and fellowship events, and College Ministry worship on Wednesday evenings.
An expanded Commons
A larger common space connecting our two buildings will help our curch host larger and more effective fellowship and outreach events, missions events, breakfast in the Commons, conferences and special events.
Additional classroom space
Adding adult classrooms will help Morrison Heighs accomodate future growth, even while meeting together in one worship service.

Morrison Heights has set a goal of raising
$7.5 million
through the GROWING TOGETHER Captial Stewardship Campaig. The church has voted not to proceed with planning and designs until $5 million has been given. Your pledge will help determine how quickly we will meet this goal.

STEP ONE: Raise $5 million
STEP TWO: Finalize designs and costs
STEP THREE: Break ground and start construction

If we pledge $5 million,
we get to STEP TWO by May 2027.
If we pledge $7.5 million,
we get to STEP TWO by May 2026.
If we pledge $10 million,
we get to STEP TWO by November 2025

We exist to proclaim the greatness of God through Jesus Christ as the eternal hope of all peoples.
