Men's Mentoring Program

Discipling Servant Leaders for the Church

The Morrison Heights Men’s Mentoring Program is a two-year process of spiritual investment, theological study, leadership training, and ministry experiences designed to disciple servant leaders for the church.

Level One

Christian Discipleship

Important Dates:

  • Dinner & Interest Meeting: July 14, 6 pm
  • Application Deadline: August 1
  • Kickoff: August 15, 5 – 6:30 pm
  • Four potluck lunch meals: Aug 29, Nov 14, Jan 30, Apr 24
  • Discipleship Workshops, Aug 22-May 1

Program Requirements:

  • Complete the Genesis Workshop, Sundays at 5 pm.
  • Participate in a daily online Bible reading group with 4 other men, including a Morrison Heights elder.

Required reading in addition to Bible reading groups and workshops:

Level TWO

Servant Leadership

Program Requirements:

  • Complete the pastor’s Discipleship Workshop.
  • Lead an (online daily or face-to-face weekly) Bible reading group with 3-4 other men who are not in the mentoring program.
  • Lead in a weekly ministry position through Morrison Heights.
  • Attend the weekly Servant Leadership workshop for level 2 mentees.

Servant Leadership Workshop

  • Meet weekly with the entire level 2 cohort, the program director, and special guests for training, encouragement, accountability, and fellowship.
  • This workshop will cover the six assigned readings listed below.
