Men's Mentoring Program

Discipling Servant Leaders for the Church
The Morrison Heights Men’s Mentoring Program is a two-year process of spiritual investment, theological study, leadership training, and ministry experiences designed to disciple servant leaders for the church.
Last year we had 57 men participate in Level One of the program.

Christian Discipleship
Important Dates:
- Application Deadline: August 10
- Orientation Retreat: August 16, 6 pm
- Kickoff: August 23, 5 – 6:30 pm
- Back Porch Groups twice per month
- Discipleship Workshops, Aug 23-May 2
Program Requirements:
- Complete the New Testament Workshop, Sundays at 5 pm.
- Participate in a daily online Bible reading group with 2–3 cohort members and an elder.
- Meet outside with your mentoring group 12 times during the year.
Bible Reading Groups
Check in daily with your group through a mobile video app, like Marco Polo.
Back Porch Groups
- Hang out with real people (not on Zoom)!
- Sit on the porch or in the garage where you can maintain social distance.

Level TWO
Servant Leadership
Important Dates:
- Application Deadline: August 10
- Orientation: August 16, 6 pm
- Kickoff: August 23, 5-6:30 pm
- Discipleship Workshops: Aug 23–May 2
Program Requirements:
- Complete the New Testament Workshop, Sundays at 5 pm.
- Lead an (online daily or face-to-face weekly) Bible reading group with 3-4 other men who are not in the mentoring program.
- Lead in a weekly ministry position through Morrison Heights.
- Attend the weekly Servant Leadership workshop for level 2 mentees, Sundays at 6pm.
Servant Leadership Workshop
- Sundays at 6 pm, August 30 – May 2
- Meet weekly with the entire level 2 cohort, the program director, and special guests for training, encouragement, accountability, and fellowship.
- This workshop will cover the six assigned readings listed below.
