When you arrive at Morrison Heights you will find our first-time guest parking spots located in the front of our campus. From there, someone in a bright blue shirt will be excited to greet you and guide you into our church. If there is anything we can do to make you more comfortable during your visit with us please let one of our volunteers know. LEADERSHIP
Morrison Heights is led by a team of pastors and staff dedicated to serving our church and sharing the love of Christ. Our pastors and staff are under the leadership and direction of our Elders, each elected to serve a 6-year term by the church.
The church has adopted The Baptist Faith & Message, 2000 as its statement of faith. We are an independent, autonomous, local church which voluntarily and freely cooperates with the Metro Baptist Association, the Mississippi Baptist Convention, and the Southern Baptist Convention.
We exist to proclaim the greatness of God through Jesus Christ as the eternal hope of all peoples.
PERSONAL FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST
In Jesus alone our lives find joy and purpose. By looking to the work of Christ for forgiveness and salvation, we find hope for this life and for eternity.
AUTHORITY AND SUFFICIENCY OF THE BIBLE
Authored by God himself, the Bible is unlike any other book. God's Word speaks with authority in our lives and reveals the essential nature and character of both God and man.
A CHRIST-TRANSFORMED LIFE
Through faith in Christ, we are rescued from the power of sin and given new life. Through the presence of His Spirit in us, we grow more and more in His image.
