wanted to give u a short update on my dad so you could share. He has the flu along with many at the Morton Nursing Home. Such that they have stopped most visitors coming. It has really taken a toll on his already weak condition. He has been put on morphine and some other meds to help w the flu and to help his breathing. His breathing has become labored and shallow. The Hospice nurse says she is seeing signs of well.... end of life. We were alerted Christmas morning and have been there daily. It could be a day or two or a few days. He is not alert but it being kept comfortable and has been moved to a private room. His condition has not changed much in the last 24 hours. It will really be hard on my mom as her health is not good either. She’s been struggling w swollen legs for many months.
